College and guidance

Preparing students for purpose, pathways, and the future. At Crosspoint, we guide each student through individualized academic planning and college preparation, helping them discover their strengths, explore their calling, and prepare for whatever comes next.

Preparing students

At Crosspoint, we believe every student deserves intentional, individualized support as they discover their strengths, set goals, and prepare for life beyond high school. Our College & Guidance program, led by our Dean of Academics and College Affairs, provides a clear, personalized road map for each student—beginning long before senior year.

Spirit

Personalized academic planning

We work with each student to build a four-year plan that aligns with their abilities, interests, and aspirations. Starting in ninth grade, our guidance process helps students understand their options and make informed choices about their academic journey.

  • Understand graduation requirements
  • Explore academic interests and long-term goals
  • Plan a four-year schedule that supports both rigor and balance
  • Adjust courses as needs and aspirations grow
Pathways

Foundation and honors pathways

Two distinct academic routes designed for different learning styles

Foundation pathway

Our Foundation Pathway provides a rigorous, well-paced curriculum that emphasizes mastery and deep understanding. Students in this track develop strong foundational skills while maintaining balance and confidence in their academic pursuits.

This pathway is ideal for students who thrive with clear structure, consistent support, and time to fully grasp concepts before moving forward.

Honors pathway

Our Honors Pathway challenges students to accelerate their learning, engage with advanced material, and develop critical thinking skills at a higher level. Students in this track are prepared for college-level coursework and are encouraged to pursue independent projects and deeper exploration of their interests.

This pathway suits students who are ready for intellectual challenge and wish to prepare for selective college environments.

College preparation
and senior guidance

During senior year, students participate in college preparation classes where they receive direct instruction and support in navigating the college application process. Our Dean of Academics and College Affairs works closely with each student to ensure they are prepared for this significant transition.
